Why choose SSAS based on Inmarsat D+?
¡ó Modern pirate not only steal money but also hijack the ship and valuable goods today. This SSAS are not only designed for ISPS requirement, but also for secure your assets. It can track your ship automatically even the Captain have no chance to send out security alert.
¡ó All the parties include D+, GPS, Battery, circuit, antenna, etc. are put into a PC/ABS dome enclosure, it can be installed in a secret position and is not easy to be found by terrorists.

Particular specifications£º
¡ó Due to its size it can be discretely located or disguised within other equipment.
¡ó Our strategy partner Sectrack is the largest D+ service supplier over world, monitoring over 20000 assets every day.
¡ó It is safe to the Master. Because it can be reset and controlled from the server, the Master does not need to know the location of SSAS, even if the Master tells the terrorist the position of the activate point, SSAS still can transmit alert messages.
¡ó It can work as a fleet management system in normal condition.
¡ó It is easily installed either by ships crew or contractors and does not conflict with existing shipboard installations.
¡ó Two activation points can be distinguished, which indicate different emergency levels.
¡ó D+ is already in use as a successful security-monitoring device within the leisure industry.
¡ó Security is not reliant on coded telephone calls that can easily be overlooked or maybe impossible to make in the event of an emergency.
¡ó In-built batteries can be kept charged from ships ordinary electrical supply.
¡ó Minimal maintenance, unit normally programmed for self-testing.

Operating Modes£º
¡ó Nominal Mode - the unit is powered by the ship¡¯s main power supply and transmits housekeeping position reports typically at 12 hourly intervals to the Bayard server. Each report includes vessel identity, current position, date /time of position report, current speed, current heading.
¡ó Alert Mode - the unit transmits position alerts at 30-minute intervals. A loss of main ship¡¯s power will place the unit in Amber alert mode and operate using the backup battery set for up to 5 days. A manual activation from one of the fixed activation points will place the unit in Red alert mode. A red alert will always be maintained until deactivated by the competent Authority / Company.

Dedicated website£º
¡ó The precise location and status of every ship in your fleet can be tracked on any desktop or laptop computer connected to the Internet, using a standard web browser, via Bayard SSAS website, which requires a secure password login.
¡ó Using the Bayard SSAS web interface, fleet managers can also optionally interrogate the satellite terminal on-board ship for a current position report, or remotely increase tracking frequency.
¡ó The user-friendly web interface allows fleet managers to setup nominated contact names, mobile phone numbers and E-mail addresses for automatic E-mail alert notifications in the event of a number of conditions arising, including emergency alert activations and power interruptions.

Alert Notification£¿
¡ó Alert notification can be transferred by telephone, e-mail, Fax, etc.
¡ó In an emergency when the security of the ship is compromised, the triggering of any of the covert activation points, by press the button over 10 seconds incessantly, will immediately raise the alert automatically send E-mail alert messages to the fleet operator's chosen points of contact.
¡ó During such ongoing alert conditions, Bayard SSAS will automatically increase the frequency of its position report transmissions to every 30 minutes, until the emergency has been resolved.
¡ó Ongoing alert messages will continue to allow the ship's precise location to be tracked, identifying which alert activation point has been triggered, and reporting any tampering with the external power supply.

Why do you choose security alert monitor center?
¡ó There will inevitably be a number of false alerts from ships using D+ as a security alert device, as there are with the current GMDSS system, and this will put an even greater burden on already overstretched ship superintendents. The center will ensure these false alerts are properly verified and dealt with professionally.
¡ó All alerts investigated and followed up ¨C ship operator, flag and coastal states quickly notified.
¡ó All test messages will be monitored and recorded.
¡ó Watch operators fully trained and experienced.
¡ó High level of system security to protect confidential information.
¡ó Will actively participate in drills and exercises.
